Four change-of-state detectors are provided which are associated with inputs lP3, lP2, IPl and IPO. A HIGH-to-LOW or LOW-to-HIGH transition of these inputs, lasting longer than 25 t0 50 ffS, will set the corresponding bit in the input port change register. The bits are cleared when the register is read by the CPU. Any change-of-state can also be programmed to generate an interrupt to the CPU.
- Write a 06H to the control register to set both the register write enable latch (RWEL) and the WEL bit This is also a volatile cycle. The zeros in the data byte are required. (Operation preceeded by a start and ended with a stop).
